Thermal wristbands are made of a type of material that changes color when heated. This is the same type of paper that most event tickets, such as concerts and movies, are printed on. They can be put in thermal wristband printers so that you can print whatever you want on the band. The time and date of the event, as well as the price, can be printed directly on the wristband.

Thermal wristbands can be used in place of tickets for an event. They work very well for all day events where the customers may be going in and out over the course of the day. They are much more secure than regular wristbands due to the fact that you can print specifics about the event directly on them.

Printers use heat to mark thermal wristbands. This means that thermal wristbands need to be kept out of direct sunlight, or any area in which the temperature will be very high. If they are not, they will turn black and be unusable. Customers or guests will need to be warned about this.

Thermal wristbands are for single time use. The material they are made out of cannot be attached and separated for later use. Also, once thermal wristbands are printed, the markings cannot be erased. If you are printing your wristbands yourself, be sure to double check the information you are printing–youll only get one shot at it!
