Accessories: Specialty Wristbands

June 19, 2008 – 11:30 am

Many places use specialty wristbands for events that occur only once. These are things like concerts, guest appearances, or comedy shows. The name and date of the event is usually printed on specialty wristbands, and are substituted for a ticket.

This works well when the event, such as an all day concert, is held in different places. Many concerts will be held in the same general area, but there will be several different access gates. People will have to leave one gated area and enter into another to see a different band.

Specialty Wristbands as Opposed to Tickets
If you have specialty wristbands printed out, people will not have to worry about finding their tickets as they move to different stages. The specialty wristbands can also be bar coded to make it easier for security to handle. With bar coded specialty wristbands, ushers can scan the wristband as people enter.

This will save time and cut down on long lines. Security will be able to focus on the safety of the event, as opposed to spending their time dealing with invalid tickets. Also, during a long day event, the last thing anyone wants is to wait in long lines all day. Make the event easy on your staff and your guests–think about using bar coded specialty wristbands.
